Thesis title: "Search for Antimycotic Potential in Asteraceous Plants against Human Pathogenic Fungi".

1998-1999: Project fellow in a UGC (University Grants Commission, N-Delhi) granted project entitled "screening of Asteracous plants against human pathogenic fungi" in the Microbiology Research Lab, Department of Botany, Danielson College, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Research/ Work Experience:

· Expertise in assessment of in vitro antimycotic activity of medicinally important plants and in vivo studies (topical application).

· Surveying, sampling and identification of medicinal plant.

· Extraction, purification and biological activity evaluation of herbal extracts and essential oils.

· HPTLC instrumentation and analysis methods and application.

· Worked for NISSAT Database on Medicinal Plants at SRISTI- Ahmedabad. A complete profile of 250 medicinal plants was generated in 4 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Tamil and Gujarati.

· Author for PROTA (Plant Resources of Tropical Africa, South Africa) on their medicinal plant database preparation.

· Reviewer for African Journal of Traditional and Complementary and Alternative Medicines, published from Nigeria.

· Member, Editorial Board for Bi-monthly magazine SujhBujh Aaspass ki, Published by SRISTI Innovations, Ahmedabad.
